We are a passionate and inviting sports club that covers the Nelson Tasman region.

The Nelson Triathlon and Multisport Club aims to promote enjoyment and to help you achieve your goals within the related sports of triathlon, duathlon, multisport and open water swimming. Entry to our events is not restricted to club members, however, we encourage you to support the club and the sport of triathlon in New Zealand by becoming members (see benefits below)

Membership for the year November 1, 2020, to October 31, 2021, is now open.

In this year, we enter a new relationship with our national body, Triathlon New Zealand. As an affiliated club, our membership is now routed through Tri NZ. When you sign up for membership, you’ll first be asked to choose a level of TriNZ membership that suits your goals. Triathletes who plan to compete in major events throughout New Zealand should choose full membership ($25). They will then become members of Tribe and receive a membership card from Triathlon NZ. Most major events around the country will require this as a condition of entry and if you’re not a full Tri NZ member you’ll be required to take out one-day membership ($25) for each race you do. If you only plan to race locally, or if you’re just competing in our sea swim events, you should choose associate membership ($10).

The next step in the membership process will be to choose the Nelson Triathlon Club from the available options.

We organise events throughout the year and can put you in touch with other triathletes or coaches.

Membership rates are:

Full membership (23+): $45 (includes full Tri NZ membership)
Associate membership (23+): $30 (Does not include Tribe benefits)
Junior (16-23): $27.50 (includes full Tri NZ membership)
Youth (U16): $17 (includes full Tri NZ membership)
Family group (2 adults and up to 4 children): $30 + Tri NZ membership
Committee and Life Members: no charge + Tri NZ membership
