Listed are profiles of events that are organised by our club or that are undertaken in the Nelson region.

Sprint Triathlon Series	Nelson's annual sprint triathlon series catering for swimmers, triathletes and duathletes, both entry level and the more experienced competitors. In the 2011-2012 summer, the series starts on November 6, with an early race to prepare those taking part in the national race in Auckland two weeks later.  Courses are typically Swim 750m (or Run 2.5km), Cycle 20km, Run 5km. A short course format is usually available and walkers are also welcomed. For the full calendar of events, see Event Calendar
Shoe Clinic Mountainbike Duathlon Series	The popular autumn duathlon series of run or walk and mountainbike  races, for entry level and experienced athletes. Held at Conifer Park, Rabbit Island, April/May.
Port Nelson Summer Sea Swims	A series of  swims held weekly on Thursday evenings at 6:15pm over the summer. The 2011-12 series starts November 17 and continues to March 15, 2012. The Clements Endurance Swim Series includes longer events, starting with the Opening Splash, from Tahunanui Beach to the Nelson Yacht Club on Sunday December 11 at 10.45am. Philip Wareing Memorial Multisport Triathlon	Held annually at St Arnaud, Lake Rotoiti, Nelson Lakes National Park... Race distances are Swim 1.5km or Kayak 8km, Cycle 40km, Run 10km. Also duathlon & sprint distance options. 2012 race, January 8.
Andrew Jones Memorial Triathlon	An event for Top of the South Intermediate and Secondary School students for teams and individuals. Course options for Year 7 and 8 Swim 250m / Cycle 7km / Run 1.7k for U14 and U16 Swim 500m / Cycle15k / Run 3k or for U19 Swim 750m / Cycle 20k / Run 5k. Held annually at Rabbit Island.
Mid Winter Multisport Triathlon and Duathlon	One of Nelson's orginal Multisport Kayak, Run and Mountain Bike events with Duathlon options.  In more recent years held at Greenslade Park on the popular Rabbit Island Reserve. In 2011 the race will be held on July 31, starting at 9am.
